Why We Started Kit Atelier™

Kit Atelier was born from founder Lil's growing frustration with fast consumerism and the feeling of paying more for less. After a $400 tote fell apart in under a year, she dug into the true cost of luxury bags and realised we are literally just paying for the name.   

Wanting fewer things that meant more, Lil started Kit Atelier: genuine leather, classic designs, and everything a beginner needs to craft a timeless collection of bags, without years of training. It’s an invitation to trade mindless scrolling for pure hands-on escape, and the pride of saying, "I made it."
