What kind of leather do you use?
The exterior is premium genuine cowhide, real leather you can see, feel and smell. Many kits also have a durable synthetic (PU) lining inside, chosen to keep the bag structured, hard-wearing and easy to wipe clean.
How is this different from other DIY bag kits?
Most DIY bag kits use PU, a plastic often sold as “vegan leather”. Ours use genuine cowhide and hand saddle-stitching, so you finish with a real leather bag made to be carried for years.
Do I need any experience or prior skills?
No experience needed. Every kit comes with a step-by-step video tutorial designed for complete beginners, plus pre-cut, pre-punched leather so there's no guesswork.
What is it like to make?
Calm and absorbing. The leather is pre-cut and the holes are pre-punched, so there is no measuring or cutting, just one simple stitch, repeated. Put on some music, get comfortable, and settle in.
How long does it take to make?
